Safen is our main boat for rent along with "Kaaken". The boat is designed by Austevoll Kystferie AS and decorated adapted to our guests. The boat is safe to operate and very stable in the sea, which is an important element for us so all our guests to feel as safe on the water as possible. The boat is built to satisfy demand for smaller sea-going fishing boats. It has a 28HP Yanmar inboard diesel engine and 3YM30 a Track Fish 6500 combination chart plotter and fishfinder. There is plenty of room for 6 people aboard.
Unnhild is a 23 ft wooden snekke, built on Vorland of Sotra. It is equipped with a 10 hp Sabb with electric self-starter. There is also a Furuno sounder in the boat.
Fuel (diesel ) and fishing gear are not included in rent. The boats have a full tank upon delivery. Replenishment will be made by the tenant if needed and so that the boat has a full tank on departure. Fuel can be filled in Bekkjarvik port. Tresnekkene runs about 50 hours on a full tank.
The tenant must pay special attention to the risks of travel on the sea, and even take the necessary weather conditions.
Life jackets are included with boat rental and should always be used on board.
Children under 16 should only use the boat together adults.
